In designing the cryovault, my personal goal was to completely avoid any "floors" or "beds" which would give a sense of gravitational orientation. The reason I stuck two people in each unit, facing opposite ways,&amp;nbsp;was so that gravity was immediately denied at the most basic level. I began by focusing on the central platform with its technologized soffit, holo table, and side workstations, which I posited as rotating spherical display consoles.
